THE LIFE I LIVE is a huge open-air music event in the city centre of The Hague (free of charge) that was first organised in 2011. Countless bands perform on various stages on different squares. You can listen to anything from local bands to international acts. The festival, that takes place on the evening before Kingsday and (this year for the first time) also on Kingsday, is nationally known by  music lovers and cultural connoisseurs.

On many different outdoor stages the most talented artists perform side by side with well-known acts. What these artists have in common? They give all they have on stage just to put a smile on your face!

Soul, funk, hiphop, blues, indiepop, garage, punk, psychedelia, jazz and dance tunes… just about the entire musical spectrum is present at THE LIFE I LIVE. From Sven Hammond to La Chiva Gantiva, from Hunee to Death Alley and many more… All this for zero Euro’s. This is what makes THE LIFE I LIVE so unique: the best music, completely free of charge!

Submerge yourself in this huge musical party, with a beer in your hand, at one of the many stages throughout the city! If you are from abroad and want to experience THE LIFE I LIVE Festival in Music City The Hague, make sure to book your hotel well in advance.
